Entry no. 1 - welcome/mission statement

Welcome to my blog!

I'm a second year journalism student at the University of Central Lancashire in Preston. For this module, I have to create & update a blog.

But what to blog about?

Choices, choices.

I've decided that rather than limit myself to just one subject to talk about, I'm going to look at current affairs as a whole. From local news, to entertainment, to world news, maybe with a bit of politics thrown in. No sport though, sorry! My own comments & my own analysis will be included, as well as stories from different sources, including news websites, online newspapers & other blogs.
